1. Free visualizer apps and plugins

Tools like the visualizers built into media players, free web apps or browser-based generators. You upload the audio, pick a preset and export.

• Cost: free, sometimes with a watermark or a resolution cap on the free tier.
• Time: 10-30 minutes if the export works the first time.
• Result: a bar or wave visualizer that reacts to loudness. Recognisable as a preset because thousands of uploads use the same one.
• Good for: demos, unreleased sketches, anything where the video is a placeholder.

2. Do it yourself in a video editor

After Effects with an audio-reactive plugin, DaVinci Resolve, or Blender. Full control over the look.

• Cost: software subscription plus your time. A first usable result takes an evening or two if you have never done it.
• Time: hours per track, plus render time on your own machine.
• Result: whatever you can build. Beat sync is possible but needs manual keyframing or a plugin.
• Good for: producers who enjoy visuals and release rarely enough that hours per track is fine.

3. Hire a motion designer

A freelancer on a marketplace or a studio. You brief them, review drafts, pay per project.

What to prepare whichever route you pick
